JR北千住駅西口から徒歩3分ほどのボケロナはスペイン料理を提供するバル。平日は17:00～の夜営業だけだが、土日は11:30～16:30の昼バルをしているので、休日の昼飲み難民になったときに覚えておいて損はない。
駅からそう遠くないのだが路地が狭いため少々わかりにくい場所にある。簡単におさらいすると、やさぐれた雰囲気の飲み屋横丁(マックとてんやの間)に突入！。天七・永見を通り過ぎエンジェルハートに脇目も振らず、左手に東京屋台らーめん翔竜が見えたらシチュー屋の手前を右に曲がる。アンディの手前を左に曲がるともう少し。ここにはスペインバル・ボケロナの看板が出ていることが多いので参考に。
休日の14時という中途半端な時間帯に伺うとキッチリ営業中。ウッディなファサードと黄色の店舗テント、屋根にのびる赤いダクトが印象的。店に入るとカウンター・テーブルで33席ほどで、半分くらい埋まっている感じ。やはり休日の昼飲み需要は侮れない。テーブル席に座ってメニューをみると、基準となる日本の瓶ビールはなく、スペインビールのクルスカンボ800円など。市価千円ほどのモンサラ カバ ブリュットが3,980円なので酒が安い店ではない。

生ビールサーバーはないみたいだが、スパークリングワインはサーバーから注がれる。

シャープな口当たりに加え、長い余韻を楽しめる中辛口タイプのシェリー。生ハムやサラミなどとの相性が良い。

少し酸化した脂の香り。

バルには欠かせない、ジャガイモたっぷりの厚焼きオムレツ。

軽めのハウスワイン。
軽く飲むのが良さそうな店だが、本気で飲み食いしたいなら4,000円からの飲み放題コースを予約するのが賢いと思う。
