色とりどり
北千住西口から徒歩６～７分。。。国道4号線を上野方面に進み、千住大橋駅との中間くらいの場所にあるオムライス専門店です。
こちらは開店当初から千住界隈のレビュアー様達から大変好評であり、ずっと気になっているお店ではありましたが、自宅から少し遠いこともあり、宿題店の一つでした。
新型コロナの影響でテレワークが増え、時間がある日など地元のお店を応援の意味も込めて少しづつ開拓しておりますが、午後から休暇が取れた日に利用した際のレビューです。
とある平日の１２：００過ぎに訪問。。。ランチタイムのピークですが、幸いカウンターに空きがあり、待たずに入店できました。
周囲を見回すと、サラリーマンやガテン系のお兄様方、主婦のランチ会と幅広い客層に人気の様子が伺えます。
オーダーは卓上のタブレット端末を利用して行う模様。。。色々とご意見はあるかも知れませんが、忙しい中、ミスなくオペレーションをこなすにはIot機器は重要かと思います。
【オーダー内容】
・ ケチャップオムライスMサイズ（1000円）＋チーズトッピング（１８０円）
・ 白ワインカラフェ（９８０円）
とにかくこちらのお店の魅力は色とりどりのソースの多彩さ。。。ノーマルのケチャップにトマト、クリーム、カレー、に加え、日替わりもありますので本当に迷ってしまいます。。。
とことん迷いましたが、一番人気といううたい文句につられて、ケチャップをチョイスしました。
午後から休暇ですので、当然お酒も一緒にオーダー。。。洋食にはワインでしょ？！ということで白ワインをいただきます。。。
サッと提供された白ワインをいただきつつ、まずはランチセットのスープバーを楽しみましょう。。。貧乏サラリーマンの悲しいサガで両方いただいちゃいます。
この日はコンソメスープとコーンポタージュ。。。いずれもいい感じのうまさです。
さて、スープを合いの手のちびちびワインを楽しんでいるところ、１０分弱。。。メインのオムライスが到着しました。
恒例により、写真を参照いただきたいところですが、さすが専門店という感じの美しい外観。。。小金色の形のいいオムライスに真っ赤なトマトケチャップが最高の色使いです。。。
都心の洋食屋でしたら上品に身構えますが。。ここは地元北千住、本能の赴くままに豪快にいただきましょう。。。
”むぅ。。素晴らしい。。。”
外はしっかりとした焼き上がり。。。そして中身はトロトロという理想的な仕上がり。。。
ケチャップだけのシンプルな味付けですが、実に美味しい。。
チーズトッピングをしたので、ライスにさらに深い旨味が加わり。。。これは応えられませんね。。。
Mサイズとはいえ、かなりのボリューム感。。。下町らしく一品で満足できるボリューム感も最高です。
さて、初めて訪問しましたが、期待値以上のクオリティとコスパでした。
基本メニューしか試してませんが、一品で勝負できるだけのクオリティと下町ならではのボリューム感は駅から少し遠いですが、足を運ぶ価値は十分あるお店だと思います。
夜は一品料理なども提供しているようですので、機会を見つけて軽く一杯飲みつつ〆オムライスなんてのも試してみたいですね。これからも機会を見つけて利用したいと思います。

<Revisited in March 2024> 6-7 minutes walk from the Kita-Senju West Exit. . . Heading towards Ueno on National Route 4, this is Omelette Rice specialty restaurant located halfway between the station and Senju-Ohashi Station. This is a rare Omelette Rice specialty restaurant in this area, and is popular for its traditional Western Cuisine, but it is far from both my house and the station, so I have not been able to revisit it for a while. However, I took a day off recently and visited for the first time in a while, so I would like to review it again. Looking at the date, it has been about 3 years. . . I entered the restaurant just before 12 o'clock on a certain weekday. . . I was on vacation that day for family reasons, but I finished my errands in the morning. . . I had some time to spare, so I walked a little from my house to visit. It was a little early for the peak lunch time, but the tables were almost full with previous customers. . . There were some vacant seats at the counter, but you can see how popular it is. It seems that orders are still made using a tablet device on the table. . . I was very hesitant that day, but I chose the daily Omelette Rice. . . I was really in the mood to drink, so I asked for a carafe of white wine. . . I ordered the smallest SS size Omelette Rice and had a single fried shrimp as a snack. After sipping the white wine that was quickly provided, I first enjoyed the consommé soup at the soup bar in the lunch set. . . . The taste is reminiscent of an old-fashioned Western Cuisine, and is very comforting. . . You can feel the strength of the restaurant here. . . After about 10 minutes, the Omelette Rice of omurice was served with fried shrimp. . . The beautiful golden Omelette Rice and the amount of chicken that can be described as "chunky" are the perfect description. . . Combined with the cream sauce with distinct grains of mustard floating on top, it looks truly delicious. . . Let's eat right away. . . "Yup! It's fantastic, as expected..." The outside is perfectly cooked. . . And the inside is soft and creamy, just the right finish. . . The richness of the cream sauce with a hint of sour mustard combines with the soft Omelette Rice to create a truly delicious dish. . . Although it was the smallest SS size, it still had three eggs and 100-120g of rice, which is larger than normal... Next we had the fried shrimp as an appetizer... Again, please refer to the photo for details, but it was quite an impressive size... It was only seasoned with tartar sauce, but the golden brown color of the batter made it look really delicious... "Ooh... so crispy..." As expected, the crispy batter and the deliciousness of the plump shrimp spread throughout your mouth, creating a wonderful flavor... Of course, it was the perfect snack to go with white wine... Having finished a whole carafe of both the soft Omelette Rice and the crispy fried shrimp, we left the restaurant feeling slightly tipsy about 30 minutes later... It was a busy restaurant and we ended up staying a while, but it was a very satisfying lunch... Well, it's been about three years since my last visit, but I was very satisfied with the same high quality Omelette Rice and the fact that they still serve drinks from lunchtime. I was also able to confirm the quality of the a la carte dishes, so it might be fun to go a little later and just have lunch. It's a little far from the station, but I think it's well worth the trip, so I'd like to continue visiting regularly. Thank you for the meal.
