昔からある北千住駅東口駅前の喫茶店の様子が変わっていました。過去には昭和風情の喫茶店だったのですが、どうやら階下のパチンコ屋さんが譲り受けて、営業形態をちょっと変えたみたいですね。分煙になっていて、非喫煙者もいられるレベルの環境です。とても広い店で150席もあります。真ん中の端周りのカウンター席は電源席になっていて、2時間毎ワンオーダー制です。こちらに案内くださいました。というのも、この日は私資格試験のネット試験会場が北千住だったので、こちらで直前のウォーミングアップ的な勉強をしにきたのです。
模擬試験練習を1時間やって、その間はコーヒーを近くに置いて、終わってからキーマカレーを注文しました。
老舗珈琲店の跡を承継しただけに、コーヒーはそれなりのものを扱っていらっしゃいます。ブレンドコーヒーはけっこうおいしいですよ。500円は最大2時間の場所代だとは思いますけど、それでもおいしいコーヒーです。
そして、キーマカレー。まぁ、こういう駅前の喫茶店とかパチンコ併設店にありがちなものでした。多くは申しませんが、お腹は満足になりましたのでよしとしましょう。
