前から行ってみたいと思っていた青砥の鰻屋さん いづみ。
お店は古い日本家屋で純和風で渋く、歴史を感じます。
いかにも、こういうところの鰻は美味しそうといった感じ。
奥にお座敷がありこの日は団体の方の宴会、テーブル席は私達の他ひと組。テーブル席はそもそも3テーブルくらいしかないのでこの日は混んでいるほうだったのだと思います。
頂いたのは
前菜3点盛り(もずく酢、煮ほたて、胡麻豆腐)
湯葉すくい鍋
焼き鳥のつくね
牡蠣グラタン
鰻重 並 (肝吸い、お新香付き)
日本酒 二合
今回はご馳走になり代金はわかりませんが、鰻重並で4000円ちょっとほどだったので鰻屋さんでは妥当かむしろ少しお安めかなと。
総じて美味しかったです。
特につくねが大きくてふっくら、タレも美味しく逸品でした。
前菜はこの日の6品くらいからお店のオススメで出してもらいました。
胡麻豆腐は私のリクエスト、あとから連れの方が湯葉すくい頼んでたので食材がちょっと被っちゃいましたが胡麻豆腐は絶品だったので良し♪
鰻重のタレはそこまで甘すぎずあっさりめでした。
お米も美味しく私好みの少し硬め。
今回鰻重はタレにしましたが二色重もできるようです。
日本酒は辛口を中心に有名どころを何種類か揃えています。
獺祭や新潟越乃寒梅など。
一点、6時に入店し8時から近くのライブハウスで演奏会があったためそれを注文時に告げていたのですが、最後の鰻重が出てきたのが結構ギリギリというか退店時は時間を過ぎるほどになり、急いで食べなくてはならず残念でした。
この日は奥に団体さんもいましたし鰻はもともと時間かかるものだと思いますが、このお店は時間に余裕のある日の来店をオススメします。

When I visited on a Monday night in mid-February, there was a party going on in the back, and we were the only group seated at the table in the front, so we were able to have a relaxing meal. The eel is fluffy. Of course I bake it at the end. I'm a little worried about the small bones, but it's within an acceptable range. For those who want to eat a lot of other snacks, it's easy to order a half-sized eel (small) for ¥2,500. This restaurant has a wide variety of other menu items in addition to eel, and is a restaurant that alcohol lovers will also like. With seasonal menus and new menu items, repeat customers never get bored. The service is good, the dishes are nice, and the presentation is elaborate. This time's new menu soup Gyoza / Dumpling were chewy! It's a highly recommended restaurant with a quaint appearance that resembles a karakuri mansion.
