駅から歩いて5〜6分の老舗と呼べるただ住まいの雰囲気のお店です。
注文してから34分かかると書かれたメニューから、上の鰻重を、娘は白焼きとタレ焼きの二種類を楽しめる二重源平の上を頼みました。どちらも4,700円と以前の食べログなら4,000円です。
絶滅危惧種の鰻を食べちゃうので、値段が高いのは仕方ありませんね。
焼き上がりまで待ちますが、漂ってくる香ばしいタレの香りに下積みを打ちながら待つのも、楽しい時間です。
関東らしい蒸してから焼く鰻は、箸でつまむとホロホロと崩れてしまうくらい柔らかく、香ばしいタレと相まって絶品です。
今回はこの後にセミナーがあったので飲めませんでしたが、次回は鰻の柳川で一杯やりたいと思います(^^)
