尾花と並ぶ東東京の人気店であり、ネット予約で時間を指定するので待たずに鰻が食べられる。
香ばしく焼かれた極厚の鰻はとろりと柔らかく、脂もサラリとしていてくどくない。
これはかなり上質な鰻、さすが坂東太郎。
とにかく旨味が濃厚だが、タレも負けじと深い味わい。
たっぷりの鰻を前に無心になり、気付けば完食。
東の名店『尾花』と比べると、誰にでもわかりやすい味。
鰻の初心者にもお勧めできる名店です。
