再開発がすすむ金町駅。この店はそこからぎりぎり離れた一角にある。この隣にえびすという名酒場があった。古い佇まい、暖簾をくぐりガラリと扉を開けるとこの字カウンターがあるといった、酒飲みにはたまらない店だったが、ご主人が亡くなり、お店をたたまれた。
その隣の大力も同じように古く、暖簾とガラリ扉で入る。店内、やはりカウンターがあり、ご家族でやっている。ここは焼肉やロースターの上に乗せていただく鍋がメインだ。
店特有のチューハイをやっていると、周りの常連との会話が進み、やがて仕事の悩みや世の中のことなどどうでも良くなってくる。
良い酒場だ。
