近くに住む旧友のお招きで、当店を初訪問。
その旧友によれば、とにかく何を食べても美味しいとのことで、期待が高まる。カウンターの奥にある個室へ通される。
本日はコースが予約されていた。
スタートは真鯛のサラダ。続いて前菜盛り合わせ盆と水餃子。その後、とうもろこしを使った蒸しスープ、鳩のロースト、豆乳とウニの春巻き、真鯛のフリット、大山鳥のヤオカイ、牛肉の煮浸しと続き、〆は絶品の炒飯に酒粕を使った杏仁豆腐風という豪華なもの。
どの料理にも共通しているのは、「伝統的中華」ではなく「ひと手間・ひと工夫したヌーベルシノワ」といえる料理の数々。どれも美味しい。
若いシェフがひとりでカウンターのお客様対応の傍4人前のコース料理をこなすのは並大抵のことではない。これからがとても楽しみなお店でした。おそらく2〜3年のうちに大きなお店になると確信しました♪
