子どもたちが道頓堀の「明太モチもんじゃ」が大好きで、リクエストでよく来る店です。
週末は混雑し待ち時間があることもありますが、平日であればスムーズなはずです。
我が家は必ず「明太もちもんじゃ」と、お好み焼きは「ミックス焼き」を定番で注文します。
明太子ともちは外れがありません。
一旦明太子のもんじゃを食べてしまうと、他のものでは味にパンチがなくなってしまいます。
そしてお好み焼きはやはりミックスばかりを注文してしまいます。
これが一番バランスがとれていて、甘めの生地と良くマッチしている気がします。
大勢で来る時は、餃子やえび、広島焼きなども注文することがありますが、子どもと来た時は定番で落ち着きます。
自宅でお好み焼きを作る時は、道頓堀の味に近づけるために、「ホットケーキミックス」を生地にする位、ちょっと甘めにはまっています。
