THAPA ASIAN DINING & BAR is Ethnic Cuisine restaurant located along Ayasegawa Street, about a 10-minute walk from JR Joban Line Ayase Station. I visited for the first time at lunchtime in late March. The restaurant has about 30 tables. I sat at a table for four by the window. The lunch menu includes curry set dishes and about 10 types of Thai Cuisine. I ordered the "Tapa SP. Set" (1,100 yen) that day. <Set contents> ・Two of your choice from four types of curry → choose chicken and bean curry ・Nan ・Rice ・Salad ・Tandoori chicken ・Seekh kebab ・Dessert ・Soft drink → choose iced coffee In lunch curry sets at Indian and Nepalese Cuisine Restaurants, all the set dishes except for the salad are often served on a plate, but here the tandoori chicken & seekh kebab and dessert were served in separate dishes. This may be a production to make the naan look bigger (although the naan was actually big). The salad was a shredded mixed salad. The dressing was the standard orange carrot dressing. I tore off some naan, dipped it in the curry and started eating straight away♪ I chose the "super spicy" curry level, the spiciest of the five levels, but for me it was just the right level of spiciness, and the aroma of spices made it easy to eat. Both the tandoori chicken and the seekh kebab were spicy, juicy and delicious. You can have as many refills of naan and rice as you want, so I ordered more rice. The refill came on a rice plate instead of a small bowl, so it was quite filling. It was a curry set lunch that filled me up. Thank you for the meal.
