3 minutes walk from Ayase Station. Cheap, fast and delicious! Maruichi is the place to go for standing drinks.
Conveniently located just a 3-minute walk from Ayase Station on the JR conventional line. A casual restaurant that you can drop by after work or just to hang out. If you feel like having a few drinks, |
After taking care of some business in a certain local city, I arrived at Ayase Station on the local Joban Line train for no particular reason, so I got off the train and started wandering around the station. After wandering around aimlessly, I sneaked into the Standing bar Maruichi Ayase store in the back alley for the first time. The store was run by a veteran female owner and a young female staff member, and the store was full of middle-aged male customers who seemed to be locals. The TV program was Everyday, but the background music was on the cable, with a lineup of George Michael, Yuki Saito, Bakufu Slump, Whitney Houston, Pink Lady, Billy Joel, Mayo Okamoto, Mariah Carey, and a mix of Western and Japanese music. Among them, the items I ordered were (*´∀`)つ ◼️ White Hoppy Set 400 yen including tax ◼️ Naka 250 yen including tax For some reason, there was a sign posted about the happy hour at the Horikiri store, so I thought that there would probably be a lot of people ordering it by mistake, and drank a Hoppy with a low Naka. ◼️Tuna chunks 350 yen including tax This tuna is from Yamazen, a tuna specialty store in Adachi Market. It has just the right amount of fat and is purchased at the market, so it's very fresh (゚Д゚)Yummy ◼️Homemade shumai 200 yen including tax It takes 20 minutes to prepare, but it's a juicy dish with a nice mix of onions and minced pork. I was told it was already seasoned, so unlike usual, I licked it without adding soy sauce. A regular customer came in, saying he forgot his jumper yesterday, and tried to search the store for it. Regulars who came in just to say hello were coming and going, and in the midst of the bustle, I quietly finished. Thank you for the meal. It's not cash on delivery, so I paid in cash later. After this, I crossed the Ayase bus rotary and warped under the overpass.
