Dinner on Sunday, August 28, 2022. With my partner. Work in Murayama in the afternoon. Dinner was at Kokubunji. Plan A, Plan B, and Plan C didn't work out, so I walked by this store and decided to try it. I ordered a draft beer, and from the charcoal-grilled menu, I ordered two sticks each of liver and cuttlefish, one stick of green onion, one stick of seseri, one stick of bonjiri, and one stick of plum fillet (all priced at 210 yen). I also ordered a small homemade tofu salad (640 yen) and a 3-piece special sashimi platter (850 yen). The three-piece sashimi platter includes flounder, angel shrimp, raw bluefin tuna, and ginger horse mackerel. Fair enough. Yakitori (grilled chicken skewers) came out in the order of green onion, upper liver, kawara, seseri, plum fillet, and bonjiri. Upper liver and bonjiri were pretty good. I guess the rest is normal. The BGM was hard bop, and "Song for My Father" was played in the middle. The two of us drank 5 draft beers and the bill was 7070 yen. Today's new infections in Tokyo are 15,834. Nationwide, the number was 157,788.
