カウンターキッチンの向こうから、いい香りが漂ってくる。
東京の西側で、魚介に力を入れている、なかなか良い雰囲気の店だった。
知人の家が近いので、誘われて行ってきたのだが、
とくにコースを頼んだりはせず、欲しいものを欲しいだけ頼んだ。
特においしいと感じたのは、魚介蒸し。
ラインナップにあるものを選ぶと、専用の器に入れて、蒸したままの状態で運んできてくれる。
湯気をまとったはまぐりは絶品で、特に濃い味付けをしていないのにもかかわらず、うっすらと海の味がする。
店の名前に魚介と付くぐらいだから、魚介がメインなのかと思えば、そうでもなく。
欧風の料理を中心に、ワインも楽しめる。
ワインはフランス産がよい、という風潮もあるが、最近はチリ、アルゼンチンのワインもおいしい。
古風に繕ったところがなく、本当によいものだけを取り揃えている印象だった。
いくつかコースも用意されているようで、食べるものに悩んだら、旬の食材を使ったコースにするのも面白いかもしれない。
