I went to Wana Yu in Nishi Kokubunji. I wanted to try a Japanese Cuisine course meal in Nishi-Kokubunji, so I was looking through Tabelog and found Yu Wana, which had high reviews on Tabelog. I had no idea that such a nice restaurant existed in Nishi-Kokubunji. I read that Mr. Itamae was working at a famous restaurant in Ginza, so I wanted to try it out, so I made a reservation and visited. The store looks calm from the outside and has a calm atmosphere inside, so we have high expectations. This time I ordered the 12,000 yen course. First, grilled sesame tofu, clam bowl, sashimi, A5 Miyazaki beef on sea urchin, grilled bamboo shoots and mackerel saikyo, wild vegetable tempura, red sea bream with mushroom sauce, sea bream chazuke, and strawberry white wine jelly. It came out. The grilled sesame tofu was extremely delicious, it was hot like a rice cake, and the sesame sauce and wasabi went well together.The clam bowl had a strong flavor of dashi and clams and was excellent.The tuna sashimi was the best.It was a pretty good tuna. I think you are using . The other fish are also fresh and delicious. Miyazaki beef is tender and tastes exquisite with sea urchin. The grilled bamboo shoots seem to use domestically grown bamboo shoots, and are delicious as they make use of the bamboo shoots themselves. The wild vegetable tempura is seasonal and delicious when eaten with salt, the golden sea bream is fluffy fried golden sea bream, and the ankake is also the best flavor with grated turnip bean paste, and the sea bream chazuke is made with sesame sauce and natural ingredients. It looks like they use sea bream, and it's eaten with freshly cooked rice in a clay pot, so the rice is fluffy and shiny, and the rice is really delicious.The rice is really delicious, and the dessert is made with seasonal strawberries and a not-too-sweet white wine jelly. It was just right. The overall balance and quantity of the course was perfect. The seasoning was also similar to what you would get at a restaurant. Highly recommended.
