The high-end Chinese Cuisine prepared by a female chef who honed her skills at Ginza Aster is beautiful and exquisite. "Hanashubi" is a Chinese Cuisine Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) located at the north exit of Kokubunji. It is read as Kasumi. This young female chef is originally from Ginza Aster. My mother is a fan of Ginza Aster, and I have fond memories of how happy she was to take me there when we went to Niigata or Tokyo when I was a child. So this is a store I've always wanted to visit. When I visited at noon on a holiday, there were no customers. It was just last order time for lunch. Although I was looking forward to it, I wasn't really hungry that day, so I had some Dim sum. ◆I ordered steamed Gyoza / Dumpling and radish mochi. My companion had sweet and sour pork. The steamed shrimp Gyoza / Dumpling are thoroughly steamed in a steamer basket and served. The skin is soft and the shrimp inside is plump. It's delicious as is, even without adding anything. The radish mochi is completely different from the Taiwanese one I know, and has a chewy texture similar to Hong Kong Dim sum. The homemade chili oil that comes with it is delicious. The accompanying sweet and sour pork was also sophisticated. I would definitely like to come back to eat here again in the evening. Both the food and the restaurant's atmosphere were good, so I felt it would be nice if the customer service was a little more cheerful. Thank you for the meal.
