Chinese Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) Kasumi (Kasumi) @ Kokubunji City, Tokyo @Chinese Chinese Cuisine Head west from the north exit of Kokubunji Station on the JR Chuo Line, turn right at the first turn, and we are located behind several restaurants. It's right below the Okinawa Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) Shimazakiya sign. Opening on 2021/03. As you enter through the lowered entrance, you will find a hall with wooden floors and white walls. The open kitchen has 8 counter seats in an L-shape, and the counter is made of artificial marble and has a clean feel. There are two tables for 4 people. This is a one-off operation run by a female owner. The lunch menu includes fried chicken, mapo tofu, sweet and Dim sum pork, dim sum, monthly sets and Dim sum, shumai, radish rice cakes, spring rolls, steamed shrimp Gyoza / Dumpling, fried mochi Gyoza / Dumpling, fried Gyoza / Dumpling and Dim sum sets. Dim sum can be ordered from 1, 2, or 3 pieces depending on the item. The grand menu includes 8 types of Dim sum, 13 types of cold dishes, 6 types of side dishes, 3 types of Fried food dishes, and the rice dishes include fried rice and ankake Yakisoba (stir-fried noodles). There were also 6 seasonal menu items. For dessert, there was no almond tofu or Bubble tea, just sesame dumplings and Ice cream. We had the following for lunch for two people. ▫️Fried rice 990 ▫️Sweet and sour pork set 1,100 ▫️Steamed food set 390 ▫️Fried Fried food set 390 Sides of the set meal include pressed vegetables and kinpira burdock. The fried rice was perfectly cooked, but I wish it had a little more quantity. Sweet and sour pork is tender pork with eggplant, green pepper, and onion, and has a very sweet bean paste.It's a taste that will suit all tastes. The rice is usually delicious. The steamed food set includes 2 shumai and 1 steamed shrimp Gyoza / Dumpling, and Fried food set includes 1 spring roll and 1 fried mochi Gyoza / Dumpling. All of them are pretty small and cute sizes. The customer service...is disappointing. When you make eye contact with someone, you won't feel like they're staring at you. I'm probably busy since I'm alone... However, on the way home, I was relieved when someone said to me, ``Thank you very much, please come again.''
