2022年4月25日（月）夕食。
1日村山で仕事。帰りに中央線途中下車夕食。今日は国立へ。北口の光町通りのとんかつ屋に行ってみた。この店は去年だったと思うがリニューアルしてイメージががらりと変わった。1977年創業とほかの方の口コミにある。18時30分で先客は1名だった。
カウンター席に座るように言われて着席。上ロースかつ定食（2000円）を注文した。
20分後に出てきたとんかつの定食。厚みはほどほど、薄くはないが、厚いとは言えない。食べてみると、豚肉はなかなかおいしい。脂身もなかなか甘くて良い。だが衣が気になる。細かいパン粉を硬めに付けて揚げているが、小麦粉の層が厚いのと、油切れが良くなくて、野暮ったい感じがしてしまった。
今日の最高気温は、東京都心で26.6℃、八王子で27.7℃。初夏が来たなという1日だった。
