Restaurants & Restaurant Vert @ Kunitachi, Tokyo Restaurants, Cafe Head southeast from the south exit of JR Chuo Line Kunitachi Station, cross the newly built wide road connecting the south and north exits, and walk another 100m (230m from Kunitachi Station) down the one-way street, then you'll find it on the left side of the brown, four-story medical mall on the right, the Kunitachi Medical Center Building. I called ahead to confirm the restaurant's opening hours and parking, and the warm and wonderful service was enough to convey how good the restaurant is. On a Saturday afternoon, I was worried about how busy it would be since it's close to the station, but all the other customers were quiet, single, and it was quiet enough to enjoy Chopin's serenades in the background, which was a delight. In addition to eat-in, there were occasional take-out customers. takeaway 's reputation for its delicious vegetables, which are picked that morning from Akigawa and Tachikawa, builds up expectations. There is a terrace seating area with beautiful greenery next to the building, and the windows facing it and the windows and glass doors on the road side let in soft light, creating a nice atmosphere. The interior of the restaurant is a hidden kitchen and service station at the back, and a spacious, almost square hall at the front. The interior is calm with wooden floors and white walls, and the tables are covered with light green tablecloths. The combination of dark green wooden chairs and brown bench seats by the windows creates an elegant atmosphere. The tables are appropriately divided by partitions, and acrylic panels are installed on the tables. In addition to the course you can choose from, lunch offers a wide variety of options, including nine types of pasta, four types of curry, gapao rice, and a set menu with mix fries, Japanese-style Hamburg, fillet cutlet, Tempura, and Steak (made with Akigawa beef and can be made in Japanese or Western style). The menu for dinner is almost the same. I had the following by myself. ■Lunch course 1,400 I chose a Caprese salad from four types of appetizers, four types of seafood for the main course, fresh fish and angel shrimp and scallops with poached Americana sauce (+200), rice for bread, coffee or tea for iced coffee, and a small dessert for an additional 200. First, we had a Caprese on a stylish plate, a refreshing and delicious starter. The pan-fried fish was made of grunt, shrimp, scallops, turnip, carrots, snow peas, okra, and asparagus, floating in a shrimp-scented Americano sauce, and topped with cute white and pink flowers. It was simply amazingly delicious. I should have had this with bread. Needless to say, I drank up every last drop of the sauce. For dessert, we had a two-layer jelly of blue curacao and peach, which was fragrant and delicious, with a unique melt-in-your-mouth texture. You can enjoy authentic French cuisine, authentic Japanese, and Western Japanese-style meal, and the quality of the Western Cuisine, excellent customer service, and quiet, calm interior make this a restaurant that gets top marks in all respects. You can feel free to come alone. You can also use it as a cafe (Pancakes are available). It has been in business for over 20 years, but I regret that I didn't know about it until the day before because it is on a road I don't usually walk on. I will definitely return. Restaurants & Restaurant Vert @ Kunitachi, Tokyo Restaurants, Cafe A quiet, atmospheric and delicious restaurant. It's one of my favorite restaurants, and I've been eating in and takeaway, but this time it's been 8 months since my last visit, since the night of 2021-08-18. Head southeast from the south exit of JR Kunitachi Station on the Chuo Line, cross the newly built wide road connecting the south and north exits, and walk another 100m (230m from Kunitachi Station) down the one-way street to the right, and you'll find it on the left side of the brown four-story medical mall, the Kunitachi Medical Center Building. The vegetables are delicious, with a focus on freshly picked vegetables from Akigawa and Tachikawa. Inside the restaurant is a hidden kitchen and service station at the back, and a spacious, almost square hall in front. For lunch, in addition to the course you can choose, there are nine kinds of pasta, four kinds of curry, gapao rice, and a wide variety of set meals such as mix fries, Japanese-style Hamburg, Tempura, tempura, and Steak (Japanese or Western style with Akigawa beef). Dinner is almost the same menu. Tonight, we had the following for two people. ■Hayashi rice 1,300 ■Pan-fried wild red sea bream with mountain vegetable fritters 1,200 ■Salad set: mini salad, bread, tea 400 ■Chef's whimsical salad 600 The whimsical salad is beautifully arranged with cucumber, cauliflower, cherry tomatoes, green asparagus, konjac, snap peas, lettuce, and stick senor (broccoli stems), and the carrot dressing is also delicious. Pan-fried red sea bream and clams, boiled turnip, rape blossoms, butterbur shoots, and fritters of cod sprouts are a delicious dish that makes you feel the spring, and is fun to look at. It goes perfectly with the baguette. The rice and hayashi rice are served in separate, elegant, pure white containers, and the combination of the plentiful meat and rich sauce is excellent. It's fantastic. You can enjoy authentic French cuisine, authentic Japanese, and Western Japanese-style meal, and the quality of the Western Cuisine, the excellent customer service, and the quiet, calm interior all score highly here. You can feel free to come alone for a meal. You can also use it as a cafe (Pancakes are available). It has been more than 20 years since it opened, but it is kept clean and you can enjoy your meal in comfort.
