早春の陽気に誘われ、時は昼過ぎ、未知の扉を開ける勇気を持って、私はその店に足を踏み入れた。初見の地で、安全な選択、ランチセットのラーメンとライスを選ぶべきか、それとも冒険を選ぶべきか、心は揺れ動いた。外看板の「黒ごまカレー担々麺、待望のグランドメニュー化」と謳う看板が、私の好奇心を刺激し、選択を一層難しくした。
◆ 黒ごまカレー担々麺 1,100円
辛さレベル3を求めたものの、黒ごまの魔法が辛さをやわらげ、辛党の者には物足りないかもしれないと感じた。しかし、中太麺と黒ごまカレーの融合は、濃厚な味わいを口の中へと運んでくれた。炙りチャーシューは、その溶けるような食感で、さらなる注文を促すほど。このラーメンには小ライスが付属し、そのご飯をカレースープに浸して食べるのは、まさに背徳的な快楽だった。「カレー」としては、この世の中庸を体現する美味しさであった。
