調布で最も有名ない志井本店は何度か利用しているが、牛たん処い志井は今回が初めて。
駅から少し離れていることもあってか、店内は落ち着いており、また清潔感もあるので、家族との食事やデートでも利用できると感じた。
牛たん専門店となると、麦ご飯やとろろが付いた定食がメインのお店が多いが、こちらは単品注文してお酒を楽しむタイプのお店。
ここに来てマストで注文すべきは、ゆでたんと牛たん焼だろう。今回牛たん焼については盛り合わせにした。
ゆでたんは、箸で簡単に切れるくらい柔らかく、出汁も染みている。これはい志井ならではの一品だと思う。
また、牛たん焼盛り合わせは、塩・葱・味噌の3種を味わえるためシェアして食べ比べると楽しい。どの味付けも良いが、やはりスタンダードの塩が一番美味しいので、お腹の空き具合では塩のみを注文するのもありだろう。
この日は緊急事態宣言下ということもあり、お酒の提供はなかったが、十分楽しむことができた。さすがのい志井クオリティだと思う。牛たん処もまた訪れたい。
