とにかく、上記などの挨拶を、これでもかと言うくらいサービスしてくれる店主でした。
ランチメニューのとんかつ定食を頂きました。
普通に美味しいです。
黙々と食べ進めると、あまり他のとんかつ屋では見かけない、カレー粉の小瓶を机上に見つけました。なるほど、これをとんかつにかけて味変しろということだなと思い、慎重にパッパっとかけて1口。おや、これはなんだか一気に懐かしい味に。そうだ、いつか食べたあの駄菓子の味にそっくりだ。
完食した後に湯呑みで飲むほうじ茶は、あの頃と今とを繋ぐ大切な食事のお供になっていた。
