布田にある「常楽」で、炒飯550円、餃子350円を食べた。甲州街道から三鷹通りに入ってしばらく北に進んだところにある町中華。
炒飯は刻みにんじんのオレンジ色が目立つが、なるとやハム、玉ねぎも入っている。しっとり系というよりはオジヤのような柔らかべシャッとした代物で、炒めたのかしらと首を傾げたくなる。
それに比べて餃子は真っ当なもので、ニラとキャベツ、肉が入っていて、焼き方もパリッと仕上がっている。この店のオヤジは、炒め物の調理は苦手なのだろうと勝手に忖度した次第。
