手軽に夕飯を済ませたいときに、
駅ビルのレストラン街は心強い味方。
コロナ禍の影響で、
早めに営業を終了してしまうお店もある中で、
キッチリ受け入れて下さった、
こちらのお店にお邪魔しました。
頂いたのは“牛タン定食（６枚）”です。
小鉢は先に出されますが、
そのほかはお膳に乗せて提供されます。
牛タンのサイズは正直、
想像していたより一回り小さかったですが・・・。
ですが、食してみると、
やっぱり美味しい・・・。
表面積は小ぶりですが、
厚さは、0.5~1㎝ぐらいあって
カットされた断面には、
こげ茶色に香ばしく焼かれた表面と
内部のピンク色が
はっきりとしたコントラストを成しています。
噛り付いてみると、
厚さはあっても柔らかくて、
安易に噛み切ることができるのが
さすがです。
また、口中の牛タンからは、
表面に塗られたタレの香ばしさと
牛タンから噛むごとに滲み出る肉汁が
いいあんばいに混ざり合い、
味覚と食感の両方を満足させてくれます。
また、スープも澄み切った牛テールに
葱の風味が活きていて美味。
加えて、硬めのご飯も私好みだし、
添えられたデザートも
抹茶とあんこの中に
クリームが入っていて、
純和菓子より軽い甘さと食感で
いいバランスです。
さすが、牛タンの本場の老舗店。
最近では、イートインでもお土産屋さんでも店舗が増えて、
希少価値は薄らいだように、勝手に思ってましたが、
やっぱり美味しい、牛タンの旨さを思い知らせてくれる。
是非また、牛タンが恋しくなったら、
