京王線仙川駅前のビル２Fにあるカフェレストラン「センガワポワール」。
この日は仙川へ仕事で訪問。駅前にゆっくり食べられそうなウェルカムボード。しかもそこにはスイーツビュッフェとドリンクバーの文字。即決で階段を昇る。
店内は外観からは想像がつかないほど、天井が広く、また大変大きい窓からは太陽光が差し込み、白貴重の店内がさらに明るく見える食空間。
「調布市だがここは限りなく世田谷！」そんな雰囲気だろうか。
ランチセットのメインはオムライス。オシャレ系カフェにはふわふわ食感の料理が良く似合う。
そして私にとってのメインはデザートビュッフェ。単価はランチに＋400円という割安さ。
構成はロールケーキ類6種とゼリーとプリン。
さほど多くないが、日常ランチでも甘いものが好きなだけ食べられる至福さは、仕事の疲れも全てを忘れさせる。
その中で大きなサイズ的にも存在感があったのがプリン。滑らかな食感でプリンは甘みをほとんど付けず、卵のスイーツらしさが感じられた。
また仙川へ来る際はもっと時間に余裕を持って訪問したい、と私のような人間がまたリピーターになるのだろうか。
