東京町田駅前に店を構える明治17年創業の老舗馬肉専門店「柿島屋」さんへ1年半ぶりに訪問。
年初営業日の開店直後12時過ぎの店先はお休みか？と思うくらい物静かな雰囲気だったが、暖簾をくぐれば超満席の大盛況っぷり。
コース予約のお客さんが多いみたいで、ワタシが出遅れただけでした。。。
とは言え、肉そばのみのお客さんもおりますので回転早く、5分程待ってテーブル席へ。
早速瓶ビールと馬刺し(上)、肉皿(煮込)、ハム、チョリソー、冷奴をオーダー。
馬刺し(上)はロースやヒレ肉の部位なので、柔らかーく甘味あるウマさ。
(並)はもも肉なので馬肉本来の弾力ある食感とは明らかに異なる。
肉皿は葱や牛蒡、蒟蒻を醤油ベースで煮込んだ優しいお味。
ハムやチョリソーは馬肉風味たっぷりの他では味わったことのない独特のウマ味。
意外と好きなのが冷奴。
大豆の旨味タップリなヤツ。
今回もウマかったです。
