Yanagi-dori, east side of Kanamori Library. About four cars can be parked in front of the store. I visited around noon on a weekday and there was one other group there. The restaurant is unfashionable. I sat at a table in the back where the natural light seemed to be comfortable, and selected the Morisoba (580 yen, tax not included) from the lunch menu on the table and the well-worn menu, and ordered a large serving (+160 yen, tax not included) from the elegant Suneo Mama-like lady. With customers coming in one after another, it took about 10 minutes to prepare. ・Large serving of Morisoba The soba was so beautiful that I wanted to look at it for a while. The simple arrangement of the tray, faithful to the basics, was wonderful. There's no way that this kind of soba wouldn't be delicious. Authentic soba with a sticky texture that allows you to enjoy the unique taste and aroma that only delicious soba has. The soba must have been carefully cooked, and the temperature and water were well drained, and when you dipped it in a little bit of high-quality soup and slurped it...it was bliss. The large serving option was not lacking in volume, but it was the kind of soba that made me want to keep eating, that I could keep eating. The lukewarm soba soup is disappointing. All this costs just under 850 yen including tax. The atmosphere and service are on par with the soba restaurants in town, but the soba here is authentic and hand-made.
