After finishing some errands in Machida on a weekday evening, I decided to grab a drink and stopped by Torihei-chan near the railroad crossing. This is Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) where you can find anything, especially Yakitori (grilled chicken skewers). The store was fairly crowded. Since I was alone, I was seated at the counter. Start with draft beer. Otoshi is Grilled offal, which is a standard dish for motsuyaki. ▫️Motsuni Light miso flavor. Delicious and odorless. ▫️ Assorted Grilled offal (4 pieces) Kashira, tongue, naankotsu, and skirt steak. I asked for the sauce. ▫️ Dashi-rolled egg Daddy-flavored famous Dashi-rolled egg. It took a while to come out, but it was bigger than I expected and was very filling. There were too many so I shared a piece with the person next to me. The counter seats face the kitchen, so you can clearly see the people working at the restaurant, but it seems like there's a lot of traffic waiting to order. The service itself wasn't bad, but maybe they made a mistake in the number of part-time workers?
