I visited here around 13:30 on a Sunday. Even though it was after lunch, the restaurant was almost full or had reservations, so I waited inside for about 15 minutes. It was a very busy restaurant, despite the high prices. It's been a long time since I've been here, probably more than 20 years. There are many menu items other than shabu-shabu shabu, probably for a dinner party, and I ordered a sashimi platter this time. For shabu shabu-shabu, I ordered marbled sashimi. While I was waiting, enjoying the soft drink coupon, the sashimi arrived. A classic combination of yellowtail, sea bream, and tuna. It was hot that day, so I wanted a beer, but I refrained. After a while, shabu shabu arrived. It's almost the same as it was 20 years ago, but garlic was added to the sesame sauce. The first piece was served to me by the waiter. This sesame sauce is not sour, which I like. I would like to be introduced to a commercially available sesame sauce that is not sour. As expected, the marbled sashimi melts in your mouth and goes well with the sesame sauce. It goes as well with rice as ever. The waiter added the first round of vegetables. I don't remember there being any bean sprouts before, but the rest were mostly the same, so I felt relieved. The wakame was firm and delicious. There were three slices of meat per person, but each slice was large, so it was a satisfying amount. In the past, we used to add extra meat. We finished with Kishimen noodles and mochi, and the bowl had a handle, making it easy to hold. We had ice cream for dessert, and had a good lunch while reminiscing about the old days. Thank you for the meal.
