平日の遅いLunchに、京王聖蹟桜ヶ丘ショッピングセンターＢ館８階せいせきダイニング“Quu!”を訪れた。目指すは“有田焼の器を使い箸で食べる茹であげアルデンテの店”、実は40年来のファンである。
中途半端な時間だったが店内はショッピング途中の女性客が数組、入店後も客足は途絶えなかった。“ハーフ&ハーフ”（スープ付）1,350円に、“ランチドリンク”50円を付けてオーダー。すぐにスープが運ばれ、10分弱で着盆した。本日のチョイスは、“男性支持率No.1＋ヘビーユーザー御用達”という「明太子と高菜の博多風&ズワイガニと海老と本からすみのアーリオオーリオ」である。
“元祖和風スパゲッティ”の「博多風」は、明太子・高菜・ベーコン・葱・刻み海苔・白胡麻のトッピング。その名の通り、博多名物がふんだんに使われている。風味豊かな高菜をちょっぴり辛い明太子が引き締め、絶妙な美味さである。一方の“洋風スパゲッティ”「アーリオオーリオ」は、鮮やかな色合い。大きな海老と蟹フレークが贅沢に使われ、からすみが心地よいアクセントとなっている。
意匠を凝らした和洋一皿ずつを食べ比べ大満足、食後のコーヒーを飲みながらその余韻に浸った。
