新百合ヶ丘駅から歩いて25分程度、バスなら10分程度(新百合ヶ丘駅からひらお苑入口で降車して徒歩1分くらい)のところにあります。
隣は美容室でその隣はセブンイレブン、と比較的分かりやすい場所です。
今回は妻と２人で食事しました。
これまでいろいろなインド料理屋に行きましたが、今まで行ったどのインド料理屋よりも店内の内装がインドインドしていない比較的普通のレストランっぽい感じなので、インドの雰囲気を満喫したい人にとっては少し物足りないかもしれません。
ただ、スタッフは全員インドの方っぽいのでご安心を。
メニューは単品、セット、コースと揃っていて、今回はセットメニューを注文しました。
僕はプンジャビセット、妻はクイーンセットを注文。
カレーはそれぞれバターチキン、トマトと海老のカレーにして、２人ともナンにしました。
辛さは指定できるとの事でしたので、辛めにして貰おうとお店の人に相談したところ、バターチキンはもともと辛くないため、辛くしてしまうとバターチキン本来の美味しさが失われてしまうと言われたので、辛さは変えずにそのままにしました。
セットのカレーはミニサイズとのことで、他の店でもそうなのですが、カレーを単品で注文するとあの大きなナンを２枚食べてもカレーが余ってしまう僕にとっては、ナン１枚で食べきれるこのミニサイズが丁度良かったです。
肝心のカレーの味はオーソドックスなインドカレーといった感じで、普通に美味しかったです。
また、ここのナンは他の店に比べて少し甘みが感じられ、モチモチしたパンの様な食感なので、ナンだけでも十分美味しく食べられると思います。
