おらが街の名店、新百合ヶ丘駅から少々離れた下尾の住宅街にひっそり佇む「メズバーン」
店頭ポスターに一人ひとり写真でスタッフ紹介していて安心してほしい意図は伝わるのですが申し訳ないんだけど面白くて…(気になる方は見に来て)
それによればスタッフ全員インド人男性で構成されいるようです
皆さん日本語は堪能、接客は丁寧でフレンドリー。ホスピタリティは満点です
ランチでもグランドメニューからのオーダーが可能で基本は北インドですがカレーにはケララやゴアも用意されていました

タンドール系は注文が入ってから作り始めるのか完成にかなり待ちましたが待った甲斐ある優れモノばかりでした
出色の出来だったのは野菜グリル。ナス・ポテト・トマト・キュウリ・アボカドを食べ易くカットしてインド的配合のスパイス塩で焼いたもの
瑞々しさを残したレアな野菜にマサルオイルを纏わせたシンプルなのに凄まじき旨さ
常々スパイスは野菜料理でこそ輝くと考えている自分にとってもこのグリルは相当上位に来る逸品と言えます
タンドリーランチはカレーにタンドリーチキンが付いた満喫セットで選んだキーマはたっぷりのホールカルダモンが弾けるエレガント仕様
パンプキンは甘さが軸ですが香ばしいガーリックでしっかりとインドカレーなんです
ブレッドは無理言ってナンをロティに変更してもらいましたが素朴さがとても好みの大正解
添えのサラダも様々な葉野菜に爽やかなドレッシングでこれまたいいですね、今のところ店頭ポスター以外に全く問題が見つかりません(しつこい)
そしてお待ちかねのチキンはナイフを入れるとブワッと湯気が出て間違いなく焼き立て
美味いけどこれ地鶏でやったらもっと旨いんだろうななどと欲張りな事を考えてしまうのはイケないことでしょうか？
サフランライスはバスマティと日本米のハーフ、これまたパラッと美味、インドのお店で米までしっかりなのは珍しいと思います
日本人の味覚に合わせているそうですが辛さを抑えて食べ易さを出している程度でスパイス感に不足はありませんでした
茶葉の濃いホットチャイにてランチは大満足のまま終了
有名店まで遠出せずとも遜色のないインド料理か楽しめる近場の町インドでした。
