I sometimes make Okonomiyaki at home, but I have to take out the hot plate and grill it...it makes the room smelly and it's a pain to cook. So I went to Dotonbori in Inagi. Sunday noon. It's reasonably busy. As soon as you enter, you take off your shoes and are shown to a horigotatsu-style table. There is also a la carte menu, but most people choose the all-you-can-eat option. There are three levels of all-you-can-eat courses, but this time I chose the cheapest and simplest one. You can choose from several types of Okonomiyaki, monja, and Yakisoba (stir-fried noodles). Order the menu for the number of people and exchange plates. One piece Okonomiyaki is a little small, so you can eat multiple pieces. Two of us went there, and I think we ate 5 pieces Yakisoba (stir-fried noodles) Okonomiyaki 1 serving of yakisoba, and 1 serving of monja, and we were pretty full. I love that they have toppings that I don't usually eat. However, I thought it might be slow to come out. It's best to order the next one once you've started baking. It's not a touch panel, it's a style where you call a store clerk. And my clothes smell really bad lol. Be prepared and have fun!
