It had been raining heavily since the morning, and while I was waiting for the right time to go to the city hall to get my tax certificate, it finally started to rain lightly after 2:30 p.m. It's good that I got the tax certificate quickly, but I missed lunch. Well, I thought it would be better to skip at least one meal to reduce triglycerides, so I stopped by the post office and found this store next door. I've lived in this town for over a quarter of a century, but I've never been to this soba restaurant. In that case, I decided to go there just once, so I went under the noren curtain and entered the store. The inside of the store, which feels much smaller than it looks from the front, only seats 6 people in cars and 4 seats at the counter. There was a set menu written on the table, but on days when I don't have much walking, I try to have a light lunch, so I ordered warm tempura soba. Although it is located in front of the station, I am wondering why the price is so high even though it is located in such an inconspicuous place. At the end of the menu, they use only domestic soba noodles from Ibaraki and domestic wheat from Hokkaido. It was written that they made 2.8 soba noodles. In that case, I thought I should have opted for Mori Soba, but I waited, regretting it. After a while as I heard the sound of tempura being fried, the tempura soba noodles with large prawns arrived. Shrimps are of average quality, not only in size but also in thickness and weight. I was surprised when I slurped the soba noodles. Oh, it's delicious! ! ! It's a bit thick, or in Ramen terms, it's like thin flat noodles, and you can definitely feel the flavor of the soba even when it's hot. The soba soup has a dark Kanto-style color, but the soup stock works well, and it's a little sweet to my liking, so good! The ingredients are really simple: shrimp tempura, kamaboko, horengusa, and mitsuba leaves. However, the price is more than enough. I'm sorry I missed you. Sorry to bother you again! ! !
