There is a Hamura branch near my wife's parents' house, so I used to go there a lot before we got married. Now this restaurant is a 3-minute drive from our house, so today I went to eat shabu shabu for the first time in a while. It's really crowded on Saturday nights. Well, almost all the customers are families. Even a couple like us is rare. So we waited 40 minutes. Family restaurant on weekends are crazy. Finally, we found all-you-can-eat shabu shabu. Order with a tablet. Basically, you pick up everything except the meat yourself. Even though it's shabu shabu, they also have soups like Hot pot these days. Actually, this is pretty tasty. We put in as much meat and as much bean sprouts and mushrooms as we like and have shabu shabu. If you pay with PayPay, you can pay from the tablet at your seat. What a convenient world we live in.
