Lunch in Tachikawa. I wandered down Showa Kinen Koen-dori and came to this place, which seemed nice for some reason. When I visited around 12:00, there were 1 customer before me and 10 people after me. Almost all seats were filled in no time. The interior has an atmosphere somewhere between Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) and a bar, and there are several tables that seat two and four people. The lunch menu includes taco rice, keema curry, grilled chicken rice bowl, and a daily set meal.Today's daily special is chicken nanban. Both are 800 yen. I thought the chicken nanban would be good, but I decided on the taco rice that was labeled as ``specialty!''. The amount of rice is large. There was a drink after the meal, and I chose pineapple. Served in minutes. *** Taco rice. The container is huge. Don-don! It's no wonder that many of the last customers were men who wanted less rice.
