A few minutes walk from the North Exit of JR Tachikawa Station, just a little further to the left of the post office, my partner and I made a reservation for dinner at "Chikaichi" on the first basement floor near the station. The name of the restaurant is "Hakata Yatai (food stall)" on the noren (curtain), so it seems that we can enjoy the standard Hakata Yatai dishes at Izakaya (Japanese-style bar). We went down the stairs to the basement to enter the restaurant. There are counter seats, box table seats, and sunken kotatsu seats. The second helping of cabbage is free, and you have to eat grass. The drink is a game! Chin-chi-rollin Highball (free) on the first number, highball (half price) on even numbers, either way! What do you think will come out?
