"Coconut curry that suits Japanese tastes" Enjoy our proud original curry and homemade smoked dishes
Bonga's Curry is based on the motif of a curry restaurant on the West Coast. It is a restaurant where you can feel at ease even if you are alone, with an atmosphere that makes you feel like you are re |
R I visited Bonga's Curry & Dining, a 6-minute walk from Tachikawa Station (South Exit), for the first time. I arrived after 8 p.m. on a weekday, with three other customers and one person. The three were having a drink and snacking on Fried food. This time, I ordered the Bonga's Special ①, 300g regular for 1,050 yen. It was a day when one topping was free, so I topped it with melted cheese for 190 yen. I waited for 8 minutes and it was served. The strong yellow roux and the red tomatoes were eye-catching. The roux tasted like coconut-based Thai curry, which I quite liked. (It wasn't spicy at all.) The ingredients were smoked bacon, tomato, cabbage, and fluffy egg. The cheese topping was in the roux, and when you scoop it up with a spoon, the cheese stretched and stuck to it. Above all, the smoked bacon was incredibly delicious. It was so delicious that I wanted to order more, but I gave up because I'm a little overweight. There was also plenty of rice, so I was full. My wife thought the portion was too big, so women or people with small appetites might want to ask for less rice. I also had keema curry, which was fried until all the water had evaporated, and was also delicious. Thank you for the meal.
