After listening to the concert at Icho Hall, I thought I'd just pop in to [a:13035502,HUB Hachioji]... but what kind of place is [b:Gulliver]? I popped in just to check it out... Ah, I fell in love right away. This is the kind of place I like. lol The inside is gorgeous and cool, befitting the name English pub! The counter is nice, but I sat in the space on the left as soon as I entered. The double curtains make it feel like home. I had this space all to myself, like it was my own room♪ [b:★Garjelly Estella x2] The moment I opened the menu, my eyes were glued☆ I've never seen a beer like this! It's a beer that is only sold to Restaurants and bars, and is not available on the market☆ You can check the restaurants where you can drink it on their website. The special glass, which is modeled after the original form of the cup, the rhyton (horn cup), is also wonderful♪ My eyes became hearts again. The menu said it was a new ale with a mellow aroma like black tea, and I really liked the slightly sweet aroma. I couldn't help but ask for more! [b:★ Fish & Chips (half size)] It's great that they have half sizes for people on their own. The fish was a little over-fried, but I could forgive that. The plump fish goes well with either vinegar or tartar sauce. [b:★ Homemade pickles & olives] I'm a simple-minded person who likes appearances (lol), but this one got a pretty high score. It was lightly seasoned and easy to eat. There was a record player right next to my seat. If you look closely, you can see that it's spinning! ...That means the music I'm hearing is the sound of this record! I was looking at it in admiration, and the guy said, "If there's anything you like, please let me know," and brought me a record jacket catalog. There were so many Western records! They're all in this shop. Amazing! I'm not very familiar with Western music, so I refrained from making a request, but I think it will be irresistible for those who like it. The most eye-catching thing on the counter is the shiny gold saxophone. It's actually a beer server! If you attach a reed, it will make a sound!? I was able to spend some time by myself in my own room (lol). I'm sure I'll go again.
