桜が満開のこの時期だけの限定メニューの桜コースランチをいただきました。
お店は、八王子みなみ野駅から徒歩1分程度の駅近。
暖かく、天気もいいので、食前酒としてレモン風味の白ワイン(¥650)を注文、少し甘口で飲んだ後に鼻からレモンの香りが抜ける美味しいワインでした。
コースは、まず八王子産の新鮮野菜を使った前菜。これは、オーナーシェフのご実家で収穫された野菜を使っているとの事。
次に(多分)グリーンピースのスープとバゲット(桑の実ジャム)。このパンは、とても美味しいかった。近くのパン屋さんから仕入れているらしい。
メインディッシュは、トマトベースのソースがかかった「さごち(さわらの出世魚)」のソテーに「クロダイの白子」でどれも高級感を感じる上品な味。
締めは、桜のムースをメインとしたデザートプレート。桜のムースは口の中ででトロけるほどのふわふわ感たっぷりの仕上がり。
どれも美味しいお料理で大変満足です。そこそこ値段なので、何かの祝い事の時に利用したいと思いました。
ボリュームを求める方は、物足りなさを感じるかもしれないですが、料理の質は確かです。
それから、シェフは一見強面の感じがしますが、話をしてみるととても感じの言い方でした。
