隣接に5台程停められます
土曜正午前の訪問。入口で声をかけ指先消毒のあと、適当であろう厨房前の2人掛けテーブル席に着き、一部写真入りのメニュー表より たぬき750円に決め、白い割烹着が良く似合う明朗なお姉さんへ そばの方でオーダー。
ゆかしい小上がりを眺め郷愁に駆られたり、12時近くなり、続々とやってくる老若男女に年始の挨拶をする女将の姿を眺めたりすること、驚愕の2分程度で配膳されました。
・たぬきそば
シンプルなヴィジュアルにほくそ笑む。
七味をぶっ掛けた後、袋から取り出した箸を割り、慎重に一啜り分のそばを手繰って息を吹きかけ、丁寧に啜り上げれば感じる想定通りの満足度。
透明度の高い出汁の効いたつゆは、ワカメの風味が仄かに香るやや薄口のもの。
外皮を多めに含ませて作ったであろうそばは、見た目には美しいとは感じられないうえに雑味さえも感じてしまう。
短くてややウェイブのかかるチリチリとした食感は、冷凍麺のそれにやや近いであろうか。
このように外皮の多く含まれるそばに、カエルの卵を連想してしまうのはナオジだけではないであろう。凝視にはご注意ください。
