朝7時台の京王八王子駅至近の朝食スポットは限定的。
俯きながら駅やバス停に急ぐひとの流れを離脱し今回は安心安定の松屋に入店してみました。が、入店してハッと気づく#冷酷な現実 ワンオペです。
気を取り直して自動券売機で目玉焼き2ヶとソーセージと小鉢の副菜が一通りの朝食セット￥490をご飯小盛りにてポチ。忙しく立ち回る店員氏に手渡します。「少々お時間ください」無問題…でもないけどここは大海のように広い心でぢっと待つ。
先客のテイクアウトをこなして手順通りに適切な温度に調節した鉄板で目玉焼き、ソーセージをグリル。ご飯、味噌汁、サラダ、副菜は牛皿小鉢などを流れるような手順でセットし配膳。まさにゴゥジャス。盛りだくさん。朝からゴゥジャス。
後期中年期真っ只中の早朝の胃袋にはご飯量は小が好適であるもののこれだけの御菜を使って食べるにはそれなりのテクニークが要る。適切な半熟度合いの目玉焼きを2ヶ、プリっとしたソーセージをポンイツ。さらには牛めしのアタマに相当する牛皿は少量であってもこれだけでも十分に飯を掻き込める。メカニカルに一品一品を片付け、サラダにはポン酢を少量。さらに松屋と言えばのデフォルトの味噌汁も飲み干してちょうど時間通り。
ワンオペ氏に「ごちそうさん！」と伝えシャチークの戦列に復帰。
しかし本日のオペレーションは鑑。いいもの見させてもらったゼ！これがワンコイン。四の五の言ったらバチが当たるってもん。
殺伐としがちな朝食なれどもプロフェッショナルに接するとシャチークのテンションも上がるというものなンである。
