数年前に訪れたことがあるが印象が薄かったので再訪となった。
場所は京王八王子駅、JR八王子駅からも少し距離があって、浅川河川敷の近くで業務スーパーと隣接。
土曜の昼とあって13:00頃に到着するも5番目のウェイティングリスト。
古民家を改装してテラス席も巧みに配置された実にオシャレな作りだ。
15分ほどで席に案内され、メニューを見て注文することになるが、こちらのお店はQRコードを読み取ってオーダーするヤツ。丁寧に操作のマニュアルも用意してあるが、一発でオーダーが完了しないから厄介だ。結局店の方に確認しながら操作した。
で、オーダーしたのが下記。
⚫︎米澤豚のカツ&揚げ茄子カレー ¥1,750
ごはん（雑穀米）250g、サラダ、3段小鉢（漬物2種、ナッツ）、アイスコーヒー
⚫︎牛肉ステーキ&旬野菜カレー ¥2,050

⚫︎えび・オリーブ・マッシュルーム・アボカドのシーザーサラダ（温泉玉子ソース）ハーフ ¥900
カレー以外の副菜などが野菜メインで彩り鮮やか、不思議と罪悪感が薄れる演出だ。
まずはサラダ。ハーフとはいえなかなかのボリュームで見た目は満足。特にすごいものではないが温泉玉子ソースが斬新。自分で調節できるのが嬉しい。
カレーはトレーに全部乗せ状態で運ばれてくる。見た目も綺麗だしカレー好きの日本人にはたまらない提供だ。
カレーのお味は欧風カレーとなっている様にカレーシチューの類いのまろやか系。アジア系の本格派なスパイシーなものではない。カツやステーキに合わせるのにはこれが良いのかもしれないが個人的には物足りなさを感じる。
期待していたカツは◯◯産と謳うほどの感激は見つけられなかった。
全体的には居心地も良いオシャレな空間で美味しくいただいたが、高い期待を持って行くとガッカリする方もいるかもしれない。
