西八王子駅近くの串屋さんで食事してきました。
今回お伺いしたのは「串屋横丁 西八王子駅前店」さんです。
場所はJR西八王子駅から徒歩およそ3分のところにあります。
外観は白い看板に大きく店名が書かれていて、提灯の明かりが目立ちます。
看板そのものも結構大きいので比較的わかりやすいかと思います。
また外から店内がよく見えるガラス張りのような感じになっています。
店内は48席あります。
まず特筆すべきはそのコストパフォーマンスですね。
串一本がほとんど100円で提供されてます。
高くても150円というとんでも設定です。
また一本からおまかせで店員さんにお願いすることもできます。
コストパフォーマンスのあまりの良さについつい調理や味を疑いたくなりますが、
もちろんそんなことはありませんでした。
串焼きやもつ焼きは一本一本丁寧に火を通して素材はもちろんのこと
味にちゃんと気を配ってるのが調理されている様子を見れば一目瞭然でした。
もつ焼きは生臭さがきちんと取れている状態でしたし、
串焼きは外はカリっと中はジューシーに仕上がっています。
またドリンクメニューも充実していて、ちょい飲みや、
安く済ませたい時には是非オススメしたいお店ですね。
間違いなくまた近いうちに再訪するかと思います。
