八王子駅北口から三崎町を抜けて陸橋を進んでいくとミリスがあります。今の場所にオープンした当時には何度か訪問しましたが、移転してからは訪問無し、元の場所に戻ってきてから久しぶりに11時半過ぎに訪問しました。すでにカップル客などほぼ満席で、奥野カウンターに座りました。
オーダーは数量限定のスリランカアーユルベーダ家庭料理のスリランカカレー1200円と食後にホットチャイ+200円です。
約10分ほどで提供されました。カレー2種類、サンボル3種類、とライス、です。左奥から時計回りに、豆を混ぜた食感の良い黄色のダルカレー、一番奥の濃い茶色をしたサバカレー、右奥にあるクラッカーのようなパパダム、ニンジンのサンボル、野菜とココナッツを混ぜた彩りのサンボル、オレンジ色のココナッツのふりかけポルサンボル、中央にはオニオンフライがのった長粒米のバスティライス、の構成になっています。
最初のひと口は単体でライスと一緒にいただき、次は隣り合う2種類を混ぜていただき、最後はすべた混ぜ混ぜしていただきました。食後にホットチャイをいただき美味しくご馳走様でした。
