立川の月忠が八王子にやってきたと思ったのですが、ちょっと事情があるようです。
今、立川にあるのは別経営で、名前もやきとり大舞になり、こちらの本店は網島だそうです。
まあ、いろいろ事情はあるようですが、メニューや、店員さんの元気の良さをを見ると、
私の思い出の、月忠の遺伝子は引き継がれているような気もします。
場所は放射線通りの真ん中ぐらい。サラダガールなる謎のお店があったのですが、いつの間にか閉店。
代わりにこちらのお店になりました。お店自体は結構狭くて、カウンターとテーブルが少しあるぐらい。
ですが、このぐらいの距離感の方が、このお店としては楽しめるのではないかと思います。
★ゆでたん
これは新メニュー。いわゆる、関西弁のゆでたんかと思ってたのですが、単純に茹でたタンでした。
これが、ものすごく柔らかくておいしいです。これはぜひ頼みましょう。
★フライド山芋
個人的には、月忠といえば、これだったのですよね。家で自分でも作ってたのですが、本物は
ちょっと違う。これは完全に火を通すのではなく、表面をカラッと揚げて、中は半生ぐらい、
もしくは生。そのしゃきっとした食感を味わう食べ物ですね。青のりの風味もおいしいです。
★とりまんじゅう
これも、月忠名物。なんか記憶と味が少し違う気もしましたが、こんなもんかな。もう少し味が濃い
イメージでした。昔の写真を見ると、全体にたれがかかってたので、その差かな。でもおいしいです。
★本物の杏仁豆腐
これですよね。本物はおいしいです。
すでに3回ぐらいお邪魔しましたが、串焼き、炊きとりもおいしく、店員さんも楽しいですね。
お店が狭いので、他のお客さんとの交流もあり、楽しい時間を過ごせます。
