世界一登山客の多い高尾山麓にある高尾山の魅力、未来、情報、広場を共有する無料のミュージアム 八王子市立自然史博物館TAKAO 599 内にあるカフェで、京王線高尾山口駅の近くにあり、博物館の名前は高尾山の標高の599mに因んで名付けられたそうです。
599CAFEは、多摩産材のテーブルとイスが多数並んだ芝生を見渡せるカフェで、本格的なコーヒーと心地よい憩いのひとときを過ごせます。
高尾山のハイキング帰りに立ち寄って利用し、注文したのは高尾珈琲ブレンド（サイフォン式５５０円、ドリップ式４００円）で、館内のテーブルで芝生の景色を眺めながら飲みました。
注文した高尾珈琲ブレンド（ドリップ式）４００円は、すっきりとしたマイルドな感じでした。
