2013年４月のとある平日の正午すぎ、通りすがりに利用しました。
このシャトレーゼは、あきる野市を東西に走る睦橋通りにあります。
お店の中では、ショーケースや棚などに色とりどりのケーキや焼き菓子、アイスクリームなどがたくさん並べてあり、見ているだけでも楽しくなってきます。
このときは、妻子へのちょっとしたお土産として、焼き菓子のマドレーヌとフィナンシェを買いました。
どちらもふっくらしっとりの食感です。
個人的には、ほのかにレモンの風味がするこのマドレーヌが気に入っています。
妻子にも喜んでもらえたようです。
なお、このシャトレーゼ、昭和３０年に山梨県紅梅町（現甲府市）に創業し、山梨・長野地域にチェーン展開をした後、現在は北は北海道から南は九州まで500店舗あまりを展開しているそうです。
