先にどのジェラートにするかショーケースを見ましたがこれだ！って思うものはない。もっと鳥取産フルーツや大山牛乳を使ってますアピールがあってもいいのかなと。
券売機で ダブルのコーン 450円を買ってから「フレッシュメロンと煎茶」を注文。
しばし待ちます。
コーンにジェラート2種を詰めるだけなのにこの店員さん、割と時間かかるなあ、そんなに形は気にしないんだけどなあと思いながら待ちます。
海を眺めながら食べようと歩きますが暑さで溶け出したので波打ち際まで行けず、海が見えるところで食べ始めます。
食べていて「あ！」と思います。
コーンの中がスカスカでジェラートの無い空間ができてます。
わたしがこれまであちこちで食べてきたダブルのジェラートは、1つめがカップやコーンの中をみっちり埋めてさらに上に突き出していて、2つめは上に突き出す部分だけになるイメージです。2つめの量が少なくなりますが、カップやコーンの中は満ちてるのが当たり前であとはどのくらい突き出すかがその店がどのくらいビジュアル重視なのかとサービス精神の現れかと思っています。
かたや、コーンに詰めるジェラートを少なくするために時間と手間をかける店があるなんて。。
