A 5-minute walk from Kurayoshi Station, in Kurayoshi City, the birthplace of beef bone Ramen, this specialty store specializes in beef bone Ramen. The dialect of "Gochiso" Gotsu Oramen in the Tottori |
It is a travel romance that came to Kurayoshi on a trip to Tottori in the autumn of 2023. This time, Tottori Prefecture's campaign "Don't worry! The 3 nights and 5 days trip using the accommodation discount of a major travel site. The second day of the trip. This is my first time staying in Kurayoshi. I have enjoyed delicious sake and food at the restaurant. But after all, after drinking, I wanted Ramen, so I visited the Gotsu Oramen Kurayoshi main store. It is a chain store of beef bone Ramen, which is a local Ramen in the midwestern part of Tottori. We have 6 restaurant in Matsue, Yonago, and Tottori. I have visited the Yonago and Tottori stores in the past, but this is my first visit to the Kurayoshi main store. 5 minutes walk from the south exit of JR Kurayoshi Station. It is located along Prefectural Road No. 22 leading from Kurayoshi Station. Since it is the main store, I thought it would be a larger restaurant, but there are 5 counter seats and 2 small raised tatami mats. It was after 9 p.m. on Friday, but there were no customers. I will sit at the counter. [b:◇ Gotsu Oramen ・・・ 750 yen (tax included)] Three years ago, I visited the Yonago store and the Tottori store and received the same Gotsu Oramen noodles, but the price has increased by 50 yen. The price of flour, which is a raw material, has soared. It's still limited to 100 meals a day. It seems that 100 cups is the limit that can be served to customers with confidence. The base is beef bone. This is an aged soup that is simmered for 10 hours and left overnight. In addition, it is stewed with plenty of local flavored vegetables. It seems that this completes a special beef bone soup that has no smell or peculiarity. It seems that they used noodles from Kurayoshi's Motooka noodle factory, but they use homemade chire medium thick noodles. It contains 1 piece of char siu, mushrooms, shinachiku, grilled seaweed, half a boiled egg, and a generous amount of white sesame seeds floating on the surface of the soup. I added coarsely ground pepper to tighten the taste. The beef bone soup is mild and delicious, but it doesn't have any personality. Of all the dishes I ate, I think the beef bone Ramen I ate at Kurayoshi's Flavor Virtue was unique and delicious. But it's a B-grade gourmet that can only be eaten in Tottori, so it's still precious. It was Mr./Ms..
