11月中旬の山陰出張初日。
この日の夜は米子の協力会社のスタッフの慰労会。
この協力会社は、元々私の前の会社のグループ会社にいた若手社員３人（男１・女２）が独立して、別のメイン事業と共に我々の仕事も手伝ってくれている。
私はかつてはＪＲなどこの地区の複数のキャリア（公共交通機関）に何故か強いパイプがあったので、彼らにはそれを引き継いでもらっていて、取り扱い企業数は少ないながらも、彼らは結構大口の仕事を持っている。
この日は、既に親の介護などで職を離れたものの、彼女たちが社会人になりたての頃から仲が良かったOG２人も参加するとの事でとても楽しみにしていた。
場所はここ「ANAクラウンプラザホテル」内の日本料理『雲海』。
私がこの地区に来ていた頃には無かったホテル。
約30年前の当時は、米子といえば「米子国際ホテル」だった時代で、
実はこのANAホテルが出来た時には定宿にしていた「国際ホテル」時代からの顔見知りが何人か移籍していたのだがさすがに彼らももうほとんどいない。
これも時の流れだろう。
さてこの日の料理は「鳥取冬景色」という会席料理（8,800円税別）。
２週前に解禁になったばかりの「松葉がに」の姿（小さい）が１杯付いた全８品のコース。
蟹は、他には前菜に「カニ味噌を使った和え物」と締めに「カニ雑炊」が出てくるだけだったが、
「白イカや平目の刺身」や「ブリの塩麹焼き」、
地下海水を使って養殖されたという鳥取のブランド鯖「お嬢サバを使ったハリハリ鍋」、
「ノドグロの天ぷら」など、
冬の山陰の味覚を広く楽しめる美味しい料理だった。
ここのスタッフも、社長が私の昔からの盟友（舎弟???）だったという事もあって、
皆、とても素直で懐いてくれているので、
ＯＧ２人も含めてとても和気あいあいとした雰囲気だった。
きれいな個室で、気の置けない仲間たちと、美味しい料理と良い酒を楽しむ。
高級料理では無くても純粋に楽しいね。
その後、私はホテルの部屋で社長と２人のOGと飲みながら若い頃の懐かしい昔話に花を咲かせた。
おそらく傍から見ている人がいたら典型的な「初老中年の昔は良かった話」だったと思う（笑）
